| Down to the track again, a little warm at 76 with a swirling wind. About a 2m warm up and then did my repeats. I wanted to do 12, but the doc has me around 8 so we compromised at 10. I am not sure if it was just warm or the wind gusts or just the day, but I was not feeling it. Actually I was feeling it and it was sluggish. 10x400 with 200 active recoveries. 1:29, 1:29, 1:32, 1:29, 1:33, 1:29, 1:31, 1:33, 1:33, 1:33. |

| Legs starting to feel better. Odd thing is I don't seem to have a very good feel of what I'm running some days. I've been right on before, but to today I was running slow and felt like a super easy 9:30ish pace, yet when I looked down at the end it was 8:12ap. Now that's not blazing by any means but over a minute faster than feel with no effort. I would love to harness that. Maybe it was the fact that national running day falls on my birthday... Who knows. |
