Married and have two daughters 15 & 21... I hope to convert at least one into a runner :)

Still in Michigan. 7 Mile Warm Up - Then did intervals. 6x3 Min intervals with 2 min active recoveries. Paces all 6:48-6:53. The a short cool down. I go home tomorrow and really looking forward to it!

AM- 72º/98% and sticky. Quads are sore,  but again happy to be done with the work week. Have some yard work to get done, but should be a good weekend. Easy miles w/13x20s striders in to try an loosen the legs up.  My daughter did her theater tryouts today. Singing and her monologue. She did the bit from the Princess Bride and where is the poison. Nailed it. I was pretty proud.

AM- 70º/99% and just kinda gross. It is mornings like these that I am not sure how anyone could believe scientist who preach global warming, global cooling, or the Earth will be like ___ in 100 years. Hear me out... I went to bed last night around 10:30 and the forecast was 64 with rain from 6am-11am, possible thunderstorm. OK not to bad for an August long run. I wake up around 5:30. It is already 68 and climbing. Hmmm. I noticed it started to rain while I was making my coffee and it stopped 2 minutes later. I get ready to run and check the weather. 70, and rain is all cancelled. The silver lining is it would overcast until about 2pm and then mostly cloudy. No visor. 7 miles into my run and it is ALL SUNSHINE. It got partly cloudy around mile 16 but still... you can't get the weather right an hour ahead of time and you want to tell me the weather on the Earth will be 50 years from now? Hogwash. 

Anyway, took it nice and easy. Was going for something between 18-20 and I just did not want to sweat more for 20.
