I started running in Feb of 2009.

First Marathon- Sept 19,2009 - Wright Patt Air Force Base Marathon.

Qualify for Boston 

Run Boston!  

No injuries and another marathon.

Did I mention avoiding injuries? 

More marathons, help others around me achieve goals.

Married and have two daughters 15 & 21... I hope to convert at least one into a runner :)

AM- 51º and calm. Wonderful running temps and then seeing the sunrise. 8.25 w/ 11x30s striders with active recoveries. Down to cloud park and then some loops. Several seniors out walking together today. Work awaits. 

PM- 2 warm miles to stretch the legs.

60º and sunny (sunrise start). 6x1 Mile Repeats 5x1 Mile repeats w/1/4 mile active recoveries. I need to do these away from hills next time. Rolling hills @ cloud park with some sharp inclines made this a decent workout. 3 Mile WU and then the repeats. Set out for 6, but the hills and effort wore me down that the 6th one would have been too poor an effort. Off to work, busy day.
