First Marathon- Sept 19,2009 - Wright Patt Air Force Base Marathon.

Qualify for Boston 

Run Boston!  

No injuries and another marathon.

Did I mention avoiding injuries? 

More marathons, help others around me achieve goals.

Married and have two daughters 15 & 21... I hope to convert at least one into a runner :)

Took advantage of the schools being closed and ran up to the high school track. Warm 73/73 & sticky. Still limited in what I am green lighted to do for speed work, so trying to make the most out of it. 1.25 WU followed by 6x400m intervals w/200m slow recoveries. 1:27, 1:31, 1:29, 1:28, 1:32, 1:29 I was distracted on the 5th interval by some kids hitting on the glass at the stadium. Slow run back home, had to peel the shirt off.

I had similar conditions and ran on the track too. I like the track workouts :-) Not too shabby running by the way!

Nice going. I am going to attempt some 400s on Friday - hope they are as good as those...great running in tough conditions.

Joe- You are way faster than me. I am still hoping to put together a strong summer and get near that 3 mark and run with you for part of a marathon
