Relapse week. Pain came back full force on Wed after my run. I was doing some P90x as well. Saw the therapist again on Thursday and we are still working on the nerve. A bit frustrating. Okay a lot frustrating. I am thankful I am able to get out at all, but the pain is taking the joy out of my running. I have not been supportive lately- sorry about that, just trying to get things right.

9 miles. Last 4 pain filled, at least I was able to get them in. Sugar Creek trails.

Dang, sorry to hear about that. Hope you can get through it; glad you can at least keep up some running to stay in shape.

From BTownRunner on Sun, Nov 13, 2011 at 12:41:07 from 71.72.130.36

Sorry you still hurt so bad:( If anybody can stay dedicated through an injury like this though, its you. I hope the doc can get it taken care of soon!

I can feel your pain ... stay patient ... time heals!

From Steam8 on Mon, Nov 14, 2011 at 19:35:48 from 166.70.55.77

I miss having you on here! I hope things heal up soon! Sorry that you are still having pain. Doing P90X has got to cause you pain from what I have heard!

From Dan on Mon, Nov 14, 2011 at 21:40:24 from 24.209.83.20

Joe- Yeah- I hope so, I feel like I am losing aerobic fitness by the truckload

Cass- You know me well, hope you are right

JG- Thanks, patience is a difficult thing!

Steam- Thanks, that's very nice. I miss it as well. I thought the P90x would help, but its not. Bummer. Hope you are well!

Dan, I'm sorry for what you're going through. I've dealt with that excruciating pain before and I know how it just takes everything out of you! Don't worry about not being supportive...It's out time to do that!

Colossians 1:24

24 Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions.

Stay strong Dan, these kind of injuries are the ones that build the patience runners need to be successful. Keep up the therapy and be open to try a variety of treatments. Just take the mileage your body gives and everything will work it's way out.

Sorry to hear this. Is it the sciatic nerve? I have had the before and it is no fun at all.

From flatlander on Wed, Nov 16, 2011 at 11:58:25 from 198.207.244.102

Really hope this starts to improve soon.

From allie on Thu, Nov 17, 2011 at 19:38:46 from 24.10.191.18

From Steam8 on Sat, Nov 19, 2011 at 17:48:29 from 166.70.55.77

Dan! What is going on?? Nothing for a week? I hope you are getting better! :(

From Dan on Sat, Nov 19, 2011 at 23:18:02 from 24.209.83.20

IJR- yes that sums it up very well.

Ham- Doing my best, thanks

DH- That's kinda a 'junk' term, its the nerve are in the lower lumbar (L1-3) causing the foot, knee and quad pain.

Flat- Thanks :)

Allie- Hanging!

Steam- Yes, that is my bad, I should have posted sooner- just runs are painful, therapy is long and work is.... work...
