Happy Thanksgiving :) 2 miles, Kentucky hills. We all have tons to be thankful for. My last trip to the therapist was not stellar. Due to many factors she now has me on a 2 mile MAX for any run. Bummer. Plus she said I am looking at a 6 to 9 month healing process. Big bummer. She did say that although I wont be fully recovered I should be able to train for and run Boston. She said this scaling back would allow this to happen. So, not the best news, but in the spirit of the holiday- I really am thankful still being able to get out a a little and THE FOOD! I am eating a ton! Hope everyone is enjoying it.

Sorry to hear that news, but I am glad that it will get you back in time for Boston. Honestly, Boston is a course that should be run just for the SPIRIT and FUN of it. No need to race it. As long as you finish, all is well. Those crowds stay out there ALL day, no matter how long it takes you.

Have a great day! I just finished cooking 3 pans of sweet potato casserole (tastes like pumpkin pie, only better). I bet you would like it!

Kelli- I LOVE sweet potato casserole! :) I still plan on St George one of these years I am healthy so I will remind you to make some!

Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. I know you have much to be thankful for, just as we all do! The rest time will go by quicker than you think and then you'll be back to full strenght.

Jeremiah 30:17

For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord, because they have called you an outcast: ‘It is Zion, for whom no one cares!’

Dan sorry to hear the bad news, but it sounds like you already have a lot to be thankful for! Glad to hear you can still run Boston.

Dan, sorry I wasn't keeping up with things. What's the injury? Glad to hear you are in good spirits and wish you the best in the recovery process.
