50 out this morning with more rain, so my short was wet but not from sweat for a change. I enjoyed my run, but the hands were cold when I got back in. I will have to break out some morning gloves soon. Anyone have any that they recommend?

Run felt decent, 5 base miles then some (8) short (30 sec)  strides at 6 min/mile. Overall 8:20 pace today.

Fleece gloves from Wal Mart, they cost like a buck. Love 'em!

Kelli - Thanks for the tip!

And you never feel bad if you lose them or share them or whatever! I do have a pink pair I will not part with, though. I need to go see if they have any in yet for this weekends race! I can chuck them when i warm up and not shed a tear.

Hey, did you ever get compression socks? That was you, right????

Well get me a pair while you are there :)

No pink though.

Yes that was me and yes I did get some compression socks! I have them on right now. They seem to make a huge difference after long runs. I have worn them during those long runs and I am not sure they do a lot, but they get me fun looks ;)

David recommended some compression sleeves that are inexpensive and I think I will get some of those too since these socks are pricey.

Pink RULES!!!!

I did not think they were doing much, it was more of a fashion statement. but then as I upped my mileage I notices my calves were not as sore as is typical. PLUS, they keep you warm in the cold!!
