Qualify for Boston 

Run Boston!  

No injuries and another marathon.

Did I mention avoiding injuries? 

More marathons, help others around me achieve goals.

Married and have two daughters 15 & 21... I hope to convert at least one into a runner :)

Simply near perfect running weather. 44º at the start and 56º at the end. All kinds of things going on out at the parks and bike bath. Adopt a park was going on so many people were cleaning up. There was a hospital 5/10k going on. I went  by when the annouced the winner. I think I could have beaten that time. Maybe I should look into that next year :) :p 

Overall nice day. 17 miles with 3 at HMP.

Good run!

When I see race results that are slower than my PR time, I think "THAT WAS MY ONE CHANCE TO BREAK THE TAPE!" Even though, I am no where near PR shape, and I have no knowledge of the race day conditions. Like it could have been an uphill trail race in the rain, where the runners had to wear a snorkel and flippers, while carrying a 50 pound sack. And if the winning time is slower than my PR for that distance, I would think I missed my one big chance.

Thanks guys- and yes I ran this week. Need to update. Had a very rough week at work and some poorly timed lighting storms threw me off my groove and blogging my runs.
